XILETU M-5GS Overview
The M-5GS Tabletop Tripod with G-28S Ball Head from Xiletu is a compact yet versatile tabletop tripod with a load capacity of 26.5 lb and a maximum height of 20.1 inches. It has a very compact design due to the 5-section legs which simply twist to unlock and lock, without external locking joints. Each leg has independent leg spread and three locking angles, plus rubber feet for traction. Each leg also features two 1/4″-20 threaded accessory mounts for adding extension arms, compact LED lights, microphones, and more. The head mount platform at the top of the center column also features three more 1/4″-20 accessory sockets, for a total of 9 accessory mounting points for creating a customized rig.
The included G-28S ball head is a feature-rich yet compact head with a 1.1″ ball that can be quickly and easily adjusted using the main control knob. The panoramic base has an independent locking knob and a numbered scale for precise movement. It also features a cold shoe mount for adding compatible accessories like a microphone or other devices. The cold shoe can be screwed off, revealing a 1/4″-20 accessory socket. This dual-panoramic head features a classic knob-type quick release clamp to hold the included QR plate securely in place. The clamp platform can be rotated 360 independently of the main ball for easy panoramic shooting.
