Tenba 634-519 Overview

The Tenba Rolling Tripod/Grip Casein black is a hand-built48″case designed to carry tripods, light stands, umbrellas, collapsible light modifiers, reflectors & other accessories up to 48″ in length. It is made from weather-repellent 1680-denier ballistic nylon, with air-channel ABS walls, thickly padded bottom board to protect the contents and an interior that is lined with smooth nylon. The case has a large, full-access opening that makes it easy to load and unload the gear and triple tie-down straps that keep the load from shifting and contents from banging. It is transported by heavy-duty, reinforced web handles or industrial grade, ball-bearing wheel assemblies.

Overall very solid

Overall a great bag for lugging around/flying with grips, light stands, modifiers, etc. Only gripe is that it could use a couple wedge feet on the bottom with the wheels so the bag can stand so you don’t have to constantly hold it up or lay it down.

I’ve had cheaper grip cases that got destroyed when flying with them. Handles getting ripped off etc. This feels better. Time will tell for the wheels and reinforcement.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a review on before for gear, and I’ve bought a lot of gear over the years. But this bag has been an absolute workhorse and I wanted to share my appreciation for how well its built. If you travel around North America shooting regularly this is the case for you. I can load it up with 6 light stands (3 big and 3 small), video tripod, photo tripod, monopod, boom pole, and a light modifier. It’s been beaten up on the road over the last 5 years and its still holding strong with no defects other than some regular wear and tear.

Love that this bag stands up vertical for storage. I live in a walk-up and can put this on as a backpack to make the climb less painful.

I can fit two large light stands, two small light stands, two backdrop stands and cross pole, a tripod and a bunch of clamps in this bag, and it saves me at least two trips at every corporate gig. And it rolls. It is long enough to hold heavy duty light stands, with room to spare.

Worth the price

I bought this to replace a cheap bag that had no wheels. I am saving my back and at least one extra trip back to the car on shoot days. There is enough space to fit a variety of gear. Sometimes its all of my light stands, boom pole, and c stand. Sometimes its one c stand, a Godox SL200ii and cables extra support gear. I did a shoot with this, a rolling Pelican style case, and a backpack. Taking one trip when going into convention centers with garages far away makes everything better
