SmallRig Beautypod Overview
Enjoy a consistent stable platform to vlog or take photos with the BT-15 BeautyPod 1.5K Flexible Mini Tripod from SmallRig. This tripod features flexible legs that can bend to accommodate uneven terrain. In addition to providing a stable mount for your smartphone, you get a bunch of features to expand your creativity. The lockable ball head can swivel 360 and tilt 90, so you can shoot in portrait, landscape, or a wide variety of angles in between. To elevate the production quality of your content, this tripod gives you the option of adding multiple accessories with a cold shoe on the smartphone adapter and a two-way, removable, 180 swiveling cold shoe on the baseplate.
Cold Shoe Mounts
On the top of the smartphone holder is one cold shoe mount and another is on the side of the baseplate. This side mount is removable and can swivel 180, so you can attach a light or microphone (not included) toward a subject or yourself.

Really versitile

The legs are a comfortable shape/texture for gripping if you want to use it is an arm. They are also very flexible, so you can wrap it around boom arms or tuck them under things for an upside down mount. The phone holder it comes with is also great, and is big enough to handle even fairly wide phones. The phone holder also comes with shoe mounts, which are surprisingly useful, because it means that I can use the phone holder as a mount for my pop filter.
