Really Right Stuff BA7RV-B Overview
The Camera Base Plate for Sony a7R V from Really Right Stuff is designed with anti-twist flanges to keep the camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all RRS clamps and most other Arca-type compatible heads.
The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door, and the plate has an option for an available L-component that will fit the plate’s modular design to make a custom-fit L-plate. The base plate has a durable Type II anodized finish and a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head.
