The rugged B2-40-LR II Lever Release Clamp from Really Right Stuff is compatible with most Arca-type camera plates, camera bars, and multi-purpose rails. The jaws of the clamp open wide for plates to be top-loaded quickly and easily.

The quick release locking lever opens or closes using only finger force, but still provides a robust holding power of up to 50 lb to any Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate. The base design allows the B2-40-LR to mount directly on products with rosette-type platforms. Additionally, the included rosette adapter makes it compatible with tripod heads that have a tongue-groove design. The clamp features a threadless 1/4″-20 counter-sunk mounting socket, which accepts the included 1/4″-20 screw or metric 6 screw for mounting to a ball head stem or other device.

Index marks are laser engraved on both sides of the clamp so a position can be repeated reliably. The stainless steel quick release locking lever has a low profile, which hugs the side of the clamp very closely to minimize the risk of damage.

Easy Top Loading The top loading clamp can go from closed to fully open in one quick action of the quick release lever, allowing speedy mounting of Arca-Swiss compatible quick release camera and lens plates. Visual Lock Confirmation You can tell at a glance if the quick release lever is fully open, half-open, or locked Low Profile Design The quick release lever does not protrude above or below the top or bottom of the clamp.
