Proaim CM-GPMG-01 Overview
The Gripmag Magnetic Car Mount from Proaim includes magnetic mounting disks, a grip head, and articulating arms that allow you to mount a DSLR or mirrorless camera weighing up to 10 lb onto a car or other moving platform. The rubberized magnetic disks can be used in a pair on a metal surface, or they can be used with the additional pair of magnetic disks for mounting your camera onto a glass window for a secure hold on a moving vehicle.
One mounting arm features a 1/4″-20 thread for mounting onto the bottom of your camera, and the other articulating arm mounts via a shoe adapter, 5/16″-18, 1/4″-20, or 3/8″-16 screw on top of your camera using a heavy-duty grip head. The arms mount onto one set of magnetic disks, and they can adjust using their ball joint for the proper positioning. A carry bag is included for storing and transporting the mount.
Multiple Mounting Options The kit features two magic arms and a grip head, and one of the arms and the head work in conjunction as an adapter. Designed to accommodate accessories and mount your camera, the grip head has 1/4 “-20, 5/16″-18, and 3/8”-16 threads and a cold shoe adapter that fits right into the top shoe of the camera.
The other magic arm with 1/4″-20 thread also securely rigs the camera from the base. The adjustable magic arms remain securely positioned in a desired orientation with the help of locking knobs, allowing you to select your preferred shooting angle with ease.
Secure Mounting The Gripmag car mount sticks to glass, metal, and even plastic without causing any damage to the surface.
