Featuring an especially versatile-yet-specialized design, the FUJIFILM X-mount Creator 85mm f/2.8 1-5x Super Macro Lens from Mitakon Zhongyi is a unique telephoto lens for high-magnification close-up shooting. Designed solely for working within a 1:1 to 5:1-magnification range, this lens affords an impressively long working distance range of 3.9 to 10.7″. This extended working distance aids in adding light to close-up subjects and also helps keep a safe distant so not to disturb sensitive subjects.
The lens also has an apochromatic optical design that virtually eliminates color fringing throughout the focusing range for high clarity and color accuracy. The manual focus design helps to achieve precise focusing control and a removable rotating tripod collar is included for greater stability when working atop a tripod. Additionally, an LED is included to provide additional illumination on close-up subjects.
Telephoto macro lens is designed for APS-C-format FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 127.5mm equivalent focal length. Specifically designed for macro photography, this lens has a magnification range from 1:1 to 5:1 along with an impressively long working distance range of 10.7″ at 1:1 and 3.9″ at 5:1. This lens does not offer infinity focus. Manual focus operation for precise control over focusing distance when working with close-up subjects. Apochromatic optical design reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations throughout the focusing range for high clarity and color accuracy. Removable rotating tripod collar is included and benefits working with the lens atop a tripod or monopod.
