The LM-700 Lateral Aluminum Tripod with Monopod from Magnus is a sturdy, all-weather aluminum tripod with a pan-and-tilt head that supports up to 10 pounds of photo or video gear. It features a removable center column that becomes a five-section monopod suitable for outdoor, nature, and sports photography. The LM-700’s center column also offers a convenient lateral option for extending a camera horizontally out from the tripod and suspending it over a subject when shooting documents or artwork. The LM-700 has a maximum height of 70 inches, folds down to a compact 23 inches, and includes a nylon carrying bag with shoulder strap for transport and storage.
The four-section aluminum legs feature flip lock joints that allow easy height adjustment and lock securely at the perfect height. A locking leg center brace offers increased steadiness, and the integrated ballast hook allows a counterweight to be attached for additional stability on uneven terrain or in windy conditions.
The three-way pan-and-tilt head features a quick release set integrated in a camera platform that can easily switch from landscape to portrait position in seconds. It includes a mounting plate with a universal 1/4″-20 mounting screw. The panning handle and independent panning base and make panoramic photography and tracking a moving subject simple.

By removing the center column from the collar, it becomes a 5-section monopod with height adjustable from 17 to 62 inches.
