In addition to offering waterproof protection and safeguarding your lens against scratches, the 100% closed-cell Neoprene fabric provides a thermal barrier to keep your hands warm in cold conditions. It also breaks up the shape of your lens, making it less noticeable to wildlife so you’re less likely to scare them off.
The LensCoat is easy to install and remove, sliding on like a sleeve and leaving no residue on the lens. Clear, flexible PVC windows allow you to easily view your lens’s AF and IS controls and distance scale. A small opening lines up with the camera’s mount indicator to make quick, easy work of aligning your lens with the mount. Manufactured in the USA, this item also comes with an extra piece designed for use when the lens is zoomed out to 400mm.
