The light meter now shows correct exposure through a red dot alongside the traditional arrow symbols, and it includes a battery warning indicator. The top cover’s transformation from diecast zinc to solid brass, now accented with an abrasion-resistant black lacquer, further exemplifies refinement. The M6’s exposure meter reads light through a brightened region on the mechanically controlled cloth shutter, reminiscent of the original 1984 model, adorned with the iconic red Leitz logo.
