Kirk LP-69 Overview
The LP-69 Replacement Lens Foot from Kirk replaces the lens foot of select Canon IS III and RF telephoto lenses by screwing directly into the lens collar mount with stainless steel bolts using the included T-hex wrench. The lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps and heads, and the double-dovetail design allows other Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot.
Made of 6061-T6 aluminum, the foot has a black anodized finish that makes it resistant to scratches and corrosion. It features both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 tripod threads and also a QD Quick Disconnect socket for use with compatible straps and harnesses. In addition, the base uses safety stop screws to prevent the lens from accidentally releasing when the clamp it is in is partially open. Additionally, the lens hood can be reversed for storage with this replacement foot mounted.
