JOBY Enters the Mainstream Tripod Market with the RangePod Smart
With an outstanding bundle of adjustments in a compact form factor, and weighing just 3.7 lb, the black-finished RangePod Smart Tripod from Joby offers quite a few reasons to take it anywhere inside or outside your gear bag. The RangePod rises to a maximum height of 5.5′ while its legs sport individual M-Lock angle selectors, making rough terrain or challenging positioning easy. The tripod is topped by a ball head that can support up to 17.6 lb with a nearly universal Arca-compatible quick-release plate and a center hook on the center column’s lower section for hanging a sandbag or other weighty object for secure stability.
Designed for a wide spectrum of image makers, the RangePod will support smartphones (via its included mount), DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, or anything else vloggers, videographers, and photographers throw at it. The RangePod folds down to just 16.7″ to fit in its handy carry bag.

The RangePod Smart legs fold 180 to ensure that it is ultra compact and easy to carry. The convenient leg angle selector on each leg helps you set the tripod at different heights
Smart and Ready
The included Joby Phone Clamp has two 1/4″ attachment points to attach your phone horizontally or vertically. It also has a cold shoe to attach your microphone for vlogging
