This compact and retractable zoom lens is the first power zoom model in the X-series, enabling electronic zoom control for seamless adjustments in focal length. Additionally, it is equipped with an optical image stabilization system that reduces the effects of camera shake by three stops, resulting in sharper images when shooting handheld. Enhancing its usability, the optical construction includes both aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to enhance sharpness and clarity, along with a Super EBC coating that minimizes flare and ghosting, thereby improving contrast and color fidelity.
