Description
The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to Analog 4K facilitates the conversion of Single Link SD/HD/3G/6G-SDI signals into analog formats such as SD/HD component, composite, or S-Video. This down-converter enables the connection of professional SDI equipment that outputs resolutions reaching Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) to SD and HD analog video monitors and other devices. Its compact design and user-friendly controls make the Mini Converter suitable for a wide range of applications in broadcasting, post-production, and professional audiovisual settings.
Employing 6G-SDI technology, the Mini Converter accommodates resolutions up to UHD 4K at 30 frames per second and DCI 4K at 24 frames per second. It also supports Single Link SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals, automatically detecting the input video format and adjusting accordingly. An additional redundant SDI input serves as a backup option, while an SDI loop-through output allows for the transmission of the SDI signal to another device. The converter can output up to 16 channels of de-embedded SDI input audio as either AES/EBU digital audio or balanced analog audio through 1/4″ output jacks.
Configuration of the Mini Converter is managed through built-in DIP switches or via USB with the provided software compatible with Mac OS X or Windows systems. The USB port also allows for firmware updates. A 12V power supply, along with international socket adapters, is included to power the device.
