The light is housed in an anodized aluminum alloy casing for corrosion resistance and has a striated surface for ease of handling. To activate the 650nm wavelength beam, simply twist the bezel to generate a focused stream of light. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, this light has a safe output of less than 1 mW and a burntime of up to 24 hours. It comes with a convenient wrist lanyard.
