The digital camo TravelCoat Lens Cover for Nikon 400mm f/2.8G VR AF Lens from LensCoat is a 3.0mm thick shock-absorbing closed-cell neoprene lens cover that is made to be used without the lens hood. It is designed to fully protect the lens when not in use, without the need for a more comprehensive lens case. It allows more valuable room for packing and storage. The coat simply slides over the lens, and closes with a secure touch fastener. The Digital Army Camo is an advanced computer generated camouflage pattern. It is modeled after the U.S. Army’s standard-issue ACU pattern, which provides a pixelated pattern that maximizes visual break up. The pattern, constructed from small rectangular pixels of color, mimics naturally occurring dappled textures and rough boundaries.
