This Sony E mount AstrHori 50mm f/1.4 Tilt Lens is a versatile tool for photographers who want to play with focus and perspective. When the lens is straight, it acts as a prime lens with a wide aperture, perfect for capturing portraits and night scenes with a soft, blurred background. With its 15 of tilt and 360 of rotation, the real fun of the lens begins when you bend the focus plane to create miniature-like scenes and artistic blurs. Focal plane aside, the lens design, which features 7 elements in 6 groups, ensures excellent image quality with sharp, high-resolution photos. The all-metal construction is durable and its 46mm filter allows the use of UV, ND, or CPL filters to adapt to any shooting scenario. The lens’ focus and settings are fully manual, making it ideal for learning and mastering manual settings and encouraging photographers to explore, experiment, and develop their skills.
