Gitzo Legende Tripod Overview
The Legende Series 1 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod Kit from Gitzo is comprised of the special edition Series 1 4-section Traveler tripod with specially-designed matte silver aluminum center ball head, this kit is built for discerning, globe-trotting photographers who likes to travel light. This leg and head combination has a load capacity of 17.6 lb and is recommended for use with lenses up to 200mm. Two locking leg angles and an included short center column segment allow the tripod to get down for low-angle or macro shots.
The Series 1 Traveler carbon fiber tripod is ultracompact, with legs constructed from Carbon eXact tubing for superior strength and rigidity in a slim silhouette. The aluminum rock ring twist lock joints are artfully crafted for this model. The 180 leg system enables the legs to reverse-fold around the center column and head, allowing it to collapse down to 19.9″. This lightweight tripod weighs a mere 3.2 lb, and the included Eco-leather shoulder strap ensures comfortable carrying.
