Description

Field Optics Research FHAB-270 Overview

The HAB-270 High-Angle Bracket from Field Optics Research is a high-angle compensator and camera inverter that connects to any Arca-type quick release receiver or other support with a 3/8″-16 or 1/4″-20 threaded stud. The locking upper plate adds an additional 270-degrees of rotation to a head’s native pitch, allowing the camera, scope, or gun to pitch forward or reverse beyond the head’s design limit. This allows cameras an “on the ground” perspective while maintaining the camera in an upright position for easy access to the shutter and controls, rather than the inverted position typical to other heads. For weapon systems, when attached to a bowl top tripod, nearly any conceivable angle may be reached for extreme high-angle shooting.
