Description

The Shure SCM410 is a four-channel automatic mixer specifically engineered for recording, sound reinforcement, and broadcasting applications. This mixer accommodates signals from both dynamic and condenser microphones of various types. On the rear panel, there are four balanced 3-pin XLR female inputs for microphones, along with a single balanced XLR output that can handle either mic or line level signals. Each channel is equipped with an adjustable equalizer for signal shaping, and 12VDC phantom power is provided for condenser microphones.

Shure’s proprietary IntelliMix technology integrates features that facilitate smooth, noise-free automation and channel switching. The MaxBus functionality regulates the number of channels that can be activated for a single audio source. This allows one speaker to automatically engage one channel, while other channels may still capture the signal. The Noise Adaptive Threshold is an automatically adjusting noise level threshold that differentiates between ambient noise and sudden sounds like speech. The Last Mic Lock-On feature ensures that the most recently activated microphone remains open, thereby maintaining a continuous natural ambiance and enabling silent, seamless channel transitions.
