Fotopro X-GO Max with FPH-62Q Ball Head Overview
Time-Lapse Tips and Tools
The black Fotopro X-GO Max Tripod Kit is a 4-section carbon fiber support that has a twist lock leg system that allows, along with the rapid center column, for a maximum height of 67.6″. Splaying the legs completely out enables the tripod to go as low as 18.4″, and the variable leg angles allow the tripod to conform to uneven terrain. This tripod includes the Arca-type FPH-62Q ball head, which can hold cameras that weigh up to 26 lb with its quick release plate. The head has two separate knobs, one that controls the movement of the ball, which can be positioned at a 90 angle, and a second knob controls the 360 pan. A bubble level is included to help you to have a leveled horizon. One of the tripod’s legs is removable, so it can convert into a working monopod. This enables you to have a camera support when a tripod cannot enter certain areas. Additionally, the legs fold in the reverse making it compact for storage or to transport.

I bought this as my lighter option in comparison to my older Manfrotto 055 Mag Fiber one. I am reasonably impressed with the weight and quality. I have not used the ball head long enough to compare it against my older Manfrotto head ball 488. Though, my initial impression is very positive.
Awesome

Fast, stable and very light. After 25 yrs working in tv lugging around a 40lb tripods this tripod is amazing. Quick setup, small, easy to travel with, quality construction and very well built.
Sturdy, great, love it!

Coming from a $70 tripod, right out of the box I fell in love with the feeling, smoothness, looks, and how sturdy it was. Building great confidence already. I’ve been saving and looking for a long time now, with a great discount I didn’t hesitate on this. I know I’ll be using this for many many years! Would I pay full for this? No. But at the discount, having a much sturdier, quicker setup is 100% worth the investment. 5/5!!
Poor Quality

I bought this tripod for my nikon D500 mounted with a 70-200. The ball joint got loose and the rotating axis doesn’t sit still. The pictures make it seem sturdy but the build quality is not at its prime. I’ll go back to Manfrotto
Really great tripod

Bought this tripod for our college student to use while away at school. He is 6’2 and we needed a solid tripod that was tall enough so he wasn’t stooping over to use it like his last one. It is a perfect height for him and is pretty darn sturdy for how lightweight it really is. The legs are super easy to twist and open and close back up again. Happy with this purchase
