Enhance the functionality of your Panasonic Lumix G9 II, S5 II, or S5 IIX mirrorless camera with the Black Mamba Series Camera Cage by SmallRig. This cage is meticulously crafted to securely attach to the camera body, offering a robust framework for the attachment of various accessories through its 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, NATO rail, and shoe mount. Its innovative three-point locking mechanism ensures that the camera remains stable and does not shift or rotate within the cage. Additionally, the cage is compatible with the Panasonic DMW-XLR1 microphone adapter and can be paired with the optional SmallRig Top Lift Handle.

The integrated Arca-type quick release plate facilitates seamless transitions from a tripod to a motorized gimbal or shoulder rig. Additionally, the QD socket, along with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads located at the base, can be utilized for further versatility. Constructed from lightweight yet robust aluminum, the cage is ergonomically designed to support extended shooting sessions throughout the day.

Expandability

The Lumix G9 II, S5 II, and S5 IIX reach their full potential when combined with an array of monitors, larger batteries, lens hoods, etc. This cage enables you to attach pounds and pounds of optional gear, far more than you would otherwise be able to use with your camera (available separately). These attach via the 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threading, the NATO rail, and the shoe mount.

The cage can also be used with the Panasonic DMW-XLR1 microphone adapter, and if a top handle is required, the SmallRig Top Lift Handle 3082 is compatible.

Secure Connections
