CR-N500 compliments the pre-existing multi-camera shoots as it offers enhanced color depth and visual look. Further, it comes with professional sensors and features that ease the postproduction camera matching and color correction. With CR-N500, you get a high-resolution Canon camera cum camcorder with a 1″ dual-pixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC DV6 processor, 15x zoom, 20x digital zoom, among others. You even get video recording up to UHD 4K and built-in dual XLR / 3.5mm microphone input for high-quality video shoots with equally high-quality sound input.
As the camera comes with NDI|HX support, you don’t need a separate license. You can simply add it to the existing NDI network without much additional configuration. Further, the camera also includes a plethora of professional attributes, such as genlock support, built-in ND filters, clear, 1/4, 1/16, and 1/64 filter options, and Canon Log 3 support. The camera offers smooth precision, tilt, and zoom performance, even in its remote options via IP, RS-422 serial, IR, Wi-Fi, HDMI, or 3G-SDI output. It offers all this at an impressive speed range of 0.2 to 300 per second.
You can add audio via the dual XLR inputs or through the 3.5mm mini-jack. Further, you can power the camera using PoE+ through its LAN port. This way, it adds on to your existing PoE+ network without using local power and saves on cabling. With this camera, you get a wide dynamic range, minimum brightness of 1.5 lux, and 35mm equivalent focal length of 25.5 to 382.5mm lens. It is compatible with an external controller through either RS-422 or Canon’s proprietary XC IP protocol, making it even handier.
